Installation
Can I use it in a room without a window?
No — AIROVA units are dual-hose portable ACs that require a window opening to exhaust hot air and draw in fresh air. The universal window sealing kit is included and fits most standard EU window types without drilling.
How do I install the portable AC unit?
No drilling or permanent modifications needed. Attach the universal window sealing kit to any standard EU casement, sash, or sliding window (45–120 cm wide), connect the dual hoses, and you're ready — most customers are up and running in under 15 minutes.
Performance
Does the unit work as a heater?
Yes — but only the AIROVA A1 Pro. It's a reverse-cycle heat pump that provides 10,500 BTU of heating and operates efficiently down to 5°C outdoor temperature. The standard A1 is cooling-only.
What is the noise level?
The A1 operates at under 52 dB in sleep mode. The A1 Pro operates at under 54 dB. Both units feature a whisper-quiet sleep mode for overnight use.
What's the difference between the A1 and A1 Pro?
The A1 (€599) is a 12,000 BTU cooling-only unit. The A1 Pro (€799) is a reverse-cycle heat pump — it cools at 12,000 BTU and heats at 10,500 BTU, making it a year-round solution down to 5°C outdoor ambient temperature.

Maintenance
How often do I need to replace the filters?
Replace the washable pre-filter and HEPA/activated-carbon layer every 3–6 months depending on usage. The AIROVA Replacement Filter 2-Pack (€39) covers up to 12 months and swaps in under 60 seconds — no tools needed.
Warranty & Returns
What is your return policy?
We offer 30-day no-questions-asked returns on unused, undamaged units. Start a return by contacting us with your order number — we provide a prepaid return label for Germany, France, UK, and Netherlands. Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days of receiving the item.
What warranty is included?
All AIROVA units come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering parts, compressor, and labor — no deductibles. You can extend coverage to 3 years total with the Extended Warranty (+1 Year) add-on (€59–€99).
